Lily Library
A library is now been run in the Willerby/Anlaby area for family and friends. This venture was the idea of Helen Wilkinson and Angela Pye. Helen said 'After years of sharing good books among friends we came up with the idea for charity. I have a spare room in my house that is now home to over 1500 books. The truth is Angela never wanted her books back, and I can't bear to give them away! We chose Lily's Fund as you had helped someone close to us and the name Lily's Library was an easy choice! '
Books are 50p a loan for as long as is required. Lilys library now has over 1500 books to choose from. They're doing so well that they have now branched out into Waitrose; supplying books for their staff library at a cost of 50p per book which they renew every few months. Many thanks to Waitrose for their support and to Helen and Angela for their terrific commitment to Lilysfund.
